Last, But Not Least, Lazy Lizard Bingo
email this pageprint this pageemail usJOY! - PVNN

This Thursday, the gorgeous guides from Canopy Los Veranos will be making a personal appearance at the last Lazy Lizard Bingo of the season. Jokester Alex Macedo will be calling the bingo and Homero Mena will be juggling and fire dancing at half time.

So far, we've raised $43,889 over seven nights of Lazy Lizard Bingo! $6111 pesos, that's all we need in order to take the total amount raised to $50,000 pesos. Together, we can do it!

The Refugio is ecstatic, looking after 57 children on $3000 pesos a month isn't an easy task. So lets finish this off with a bang.

This week will be the last bingo I will be holding, I'm off to do a workshop series in San Diego and the Lazy Lizard is closing for the summer, so I have something really special planned:

Canopy Los Veranos has been supporting Lazy Lizard Charity Bingo from the beginning, (goodonya Sylvie) generously donating at least two canopy tours every week. But this week, they are sending out their unreasonably yummy tour guides, who will be making a personal appearance to help bump us over the $50,000 mark.

Jokester Alex Macedo will be calling the bingo, and the magnificent Homero Mena will be juggling and fire dancing in the half time show. I should warn you that the Los Veranos crew will be bringing some special guests to entertain the crowd on this last Thursday show. I can't tell you their names, but I can say they are best described with the following: "Yikes!" "awwww" "oh my!" and "ARRGGHHHH!"

The children from R.I.S.E. will be there too, roaming the audience looking for cuddles. I can tell you from experience that snuggling with these adorable kids is an experience not to be missed.

So please come, show your support, cheer on Homero, play some bingo, win some great prizes; Gem Casa is donating another gorgeous amber earring and necklace set worth $100 USD and that's just one of the things you can win. Plus you can get a bargain on an original Steve Fischer art piece.

We are looking for someone to take over 50/50 this week, Charlotte and Carol can't do it - and it's a good little money spinner. All you have to do is make up a hundred or so tickets, take them round and sell them. In return for this service you get to help and be appreciated by dozens of beautiful little kids. It's a very good way to spend a Thursday night!

We hope to see you this Thursday at 7 pm at Lazy Lizard Restaurant and Beach Bar, next to La Palapa on Playa Los Muertos - and don't forget to bring your friends!
