Fishing With Phil: La Cruz Kids Fishing Tournament
email this pageprint this pageemail usPhil Kerr - SF Productions

Be sure to check out more Fishing With Phil reports, hosted by Phil Kerr who takes you on virtual fishing expeditions around and beyond Banderas Bay. (video by SF Productions)
In this episode of Fishing with Phil Show, Phil goes to the Marina in La Cruz to participate in the kids fishing tournament that is every year in June and there is a Kids fishing tournament in Puerto Vallarta as well that is a week prior to the La Cruz Kids fishing tournament, so plan next year's vacation around this event for your kids.

The event was a great success and many families showed up for the event. We also got to take a look at the La Cruz Yacht Clubs band new facilities. This Yacht Club is one of the most beautiful in all of Mexico. We talked to the manager and designer of the Club and got there perspective on the design and architecture of the facilities.

We would like to thank the following people for putting together an event for the Kids of Banderas Bay and visitors on vacation:

• Raul Serna Navarro (The Director of the Club de Pesca of Banderas Bay)
• Pedro Fernandez Del Valle (Owner of the La Cruz Marina)
• Fernando Gonzalez Ortega (Marina Riviera Director)

As Raul Serna Navarro so eloquently stated that this kids fishing tournament is the fishing school for our fishermen and fisherwomen of the future.

The La Cruz Marina is the newest marina in the Bay of Banderas and is 30 minutes closer to the mouth of the Bay of Banderas by boat. The La Cruz Marina has a gas dock, fish market, and Yacht Club with a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view and all the services for all your boating needs.

The Puerto Vallarta Yachting and Fishing Charter Association features virtual tours that allow you to see exactly what you are getting before you charter a Puerto Vallarta fishing or charter boat.
The Puerto Vallarta Yachting and Fishing Charter Association is an energetic and forward-looking company using Video Virtual Tours of the boats, as a way of marketing charter boats, in the Puerto Vallarta area.

This organization was developed by David Tarr, a television producer, and Phil Kerr, co-founder and Sport Fisherman in the Banderas Bay for many years. This was in response to a need that was conveyed to him by boat captains and boat owners at the Puerto Vallarta Marina. The basic need was for customers to be able to see exactly what they are getting before they chartered a boat, so there are no unwanted surprises for the customer. This is why SF Productions integrated Video Virtual Tours of the Boats and Yachts into its PVYAFCA.com website.

We have large numbers of different types, sizes, and prices of boats available, from comfortable pangas (fishing boats) to gorgeous motor yachts and sailing boats all on one web site. This allows you to see and book the boat of your choice from the comfort of your home. Your online booking insures the availability of your chosen boat, taking the guesswork and potential frustration and time wasted out of chartering a boat in a foreign country.

You will know exactly what to expect before you board, as well as being familiar with the captain and the crew, leaving you feeling relaxed and confident with the boat you've chartered, leaving one less thing for you to worry about.

"FISH WITH THE BEST OR FISH WITH THE REST"
