Puerto Vallarta News Headlines:
Clean Beaches: Puerto Vallarta participated in the Fifth National Encounter of Clean Beaches last week. Vallarta was recognized and received its certification for keeping its beaches clean. Eight beaches in Mexico have this prestigious certification and two more are waiting to be certified.
When You're Hot, You're Hot: Last Monday, in celebration of Firefighter's Day, Puerto Vallarta Mayor Javier Bravo inaugurated "Fire Proof Passion," a photography exposition by Biorel Villasenor honoring local firefighters that is currently being displayed at City Hall. During the inaugural ceremony, Mayor Bravo recognized the Puerto Vallarta fire department, saying that the work they are doing is exceptional.
It's Tee Time: From August 27th-30th Puerto Vallarta will be hosting the Negra Modelo ProAm Tournament at the Paradise Village El Tigre Golf & Country Club. This Tournament features the best professional golfers in Mexico, who will be teaming up with local and visiting amateur golfers.
Beautiful Babes on the Beach: From August 29–September 7th, Puerto Vallarta will be hosting the 25th Annual UJENA JAM Photography and Modeling Tournament. More than 100 beautiful models and the best photographers from all over the world will be competing for over $200,000 in cash and prizes. This is the world’s largest live swimwear model and Photographer search. Precision Productions will be covering and sponsoring this event, which will be aired right here on BanderasNews, and should attract many tourists to Puerto Vallarta.
