In part two of World Wide Fishing with Phil at the 3rd Annual Riviera Nayarit International Marlin & Tuna Fishing Tournament we interviewed some members of the Club de Pesca de Bahía de Banderas, one of the sponsors of this event. We also talked with event organizers Joaquin Soto and Giorgio Simone and event directors Raul Serna, Bill Gres, Pablo Delgadillo and David Zaragoza.

The first thing we had to do was look for a tournament boat to go out on and we found one when we ran into an old friend, Danny LuLu on the boat Incognito, which is owned by Randy and crewed by Dan Leaf, Lauro Augsto and Brian Bagshaw.

Before the tournament got started we had to make sure that all our paperwork was in order i.e., fishing permits and boat permits. Tournament regulations require that all paperwork is completely in order before you can make the shot gun start.

Then we interviewed different crews about what their strategies were, the type of bait and fishing methods they would use and where they planned to fish, before we set out to sea for an exciting day of competitive fishing.

And the Winners Were...

The Animal House Team
Owner and angler Roberto Geib and Luis Fernando Ramos of the Animal House First and Third in the Marlin category

Team Medico
Captain David owner Luis Blanco
Anglers Alejandro Herrera, Andres Famania, and Gilberto Murrio
Second place in the Tuna Category and Third place for the Dorado Category and still holds the record Marlin for one more year, Congratulation!
