Lupita Lopez, from Mexico, is one of only five female Matadors in the world and has been given the nickname The Grand Lady.
She was hit during her bull fight gainst "Compositor" ("Composer"), her first bull of the day, during the seventh cattle fair at Mexico City's bullring in Mexico.
Yesterday was called "Female Sunday' as Ms Lopez took part in the event along with fellow female bull fighters Hilda Tenorio and Elizabeth Moreno.
Lopez was introduced to the bullring at the young age of eight years old. |
