Fine dining has become a favorite pastime for those who live in Puerto Vallarta, as well as for those who are visiting our beautiful city. Award winning chefs from a variety of international locales have come to make the Banderas Bay area their home, making it one of Mexico’s most important destinations for excellence in the culinary arts.
Since the start of this year, eight of Puerto Vallarta’s top restaurants have won the coveted International Star Diamond Award, considered one of the most notable achievements in the hospitality industry.
This honor is given by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, the world’s premiere organization for awarding excellence in travel, cuisine, luxury products and services. Each year the Academy bestows its coveted International Star Diamond Award exclusively to five star establishments that are deemed to be of pinnacle quality by its esteemed Board of Trustees.
The Puerto Vallarta restaurants selected for their fine cuisine and superior quality and service were Le Kliff, Cafe des Artistes, Vista Grill, Thierry’s Prime Steakhouse, La Palapa, Los Xitomates, Kaiser Maximilian and Tikul.
In addition to these award winning restaurants, a vast array of gourmet eateries serving a wide variety of cuisines can be found throughout Puerto Vallarta. Other highly recommended restaurants such as Trio, River Café, Daiquiri Dick's and El Arrayán round out a wonderful selection for visiting guests and local connoisseurs, or for those who just like good food! |
