Parenting Conference at American School

On January 21st at 12:30 & 8 pm, the American School of Puerto Vallarta (Colegio Americano) will be hosting a very special conference for parents by Parenting is a Contact Sport - 8 Ways to Stay Connected to Your Kids for Life author Joanne Stern, PhD.

Dr. Stern has been a psychotherapist for more than twenty years and a mom for more than thirty-four, including five years as a single mom. A much-sought-after speaker and keynote presenter, she is an expert in the field of family relationships and communications.

Joanne has worked with families and their children and taught parenting courses. Dr Stern holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Northwestern University, a double master's in counseling psychology and theolgy from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a PhD in human and organizational development from Fielding Graduate University. She lives in Aspen, Colorado with her husband, Terry Hale.

If you'd like to learn "8 Ways to Stay Connected to Your Kids For Life," there are two opportunities to attend this informative conference at the American School in Marina Vallarta on Thursday, January 21, 2010. The first conference is scheduled to take place at 12:30 pm in the main library, and the second will be held at 8 pm in the school's Multipurpose Room.
