The American School of Puerto Vallarta is pleased to invite you to our 7th Annual Golf Tournament to be held on March 6 at 9:00 am at Vista Vallarta Golf Club. Part of the proceeds from this important fund-raiser will be donated to Leer y Crecer, ASPV's ongoing, school-wide program dedicated to sharing the joy of reading to children in public schools within the Banderas Bay area. For more information please visit aspv.edu.mx.

The money raised is spent on school improvements projects chosen by the administration and the organizing committee.

Last year's tournament funds were used for benches for the primary school, which also function as cubbies for school bags and lunch boxes.

The most significant school improvement was the equipment for the infirmary, including an examination table, medicine cabinet, and other needed basic medical instruments.

The tournament will be a foursome scramble format. We have entries in five categories: Men, Women, Mixed Adults, Adult and Children, and Children Under 12.

The cost per person is $2000 pesos, and $1000 pesos for children under 12. To register your foursome, or if you are looking to join one, please contact Elena Garza at (322) 226-7683 or Marlaine Applegate at 044-322-205-7948.

The entry fee includes lunch, beer open bar as well as fabulous prizes for all! We hope you can join us for what we are sure will be an enjoyable and worthy event.

We also invite you to participate in our program by donating a new or used children´s book in Spanish to the Leer y Crecer book shelf. For more information contact NHS advisor Ms. Lisa Schalla-Salgado at lschalla(at)aspv.edu.mx.
