Rancho Andrea is located on Lake Cajon de Peñas. Lake Cajon Peñas is the largest reservoir in the State of Jalisco and is approximately 7000 acres. Rancho Andrea is situated on the lake with a perfect panoramic view that can only be described as breath taking.

The lake is surrounded by abundant vegetation, flowers, colorful bird species, and wildlife that are native to the Sierra Madre Mountains. The abundance of birds and wildlife almost guarantees that visitors will experience wildlife in their natural habitat. This is a once in a lifetime experience, in one of the most beautiful areas in Mexico.

Lake Cajon Peñas is one and a half hours south of Puerto Vallarta and offers visitors; bird watching, hiking, water skiing, kayaking, and of course Bass Fishing. And Rancho Andrea is a life long dream come true for Owner/Operator Federico Meillon.

The lake is stocked regularly with Large Mouth and Florida Bass. The current record for largest Bass in the lake caught is 13 pounds but, Lake Cajon Peñas was recently stocked with over 200,000 Bass and a little Tilapia as well, ensuring that a Monster Bass will be coming out of the lake soon!

This is not your ordinary camping trip... A visit to Rancho Andrea is an experience for the whole family, offering barbecues, bonfires, fishing, and great memories. Their comfortable one bedroom suites with kitchenettes for less than $100 USD per night give you a real bargain for your buck. They also offer all-inclusive fishing trips for less than $200 USD per day!
