Those of you who’ve been following our progress for more than a few months will recognize this pair as the infamous duo, Fox and Einstein. They and their many fans start their annual Roma Kids North American Tour at the White House Bistro in Saugatuck, Michigan on Sunday, June 27, hosted by Dave and Deb Barton, where they hope to continue last year’s incredible fundraising successes for the kids at the School of Champions.

The second event will be held in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, August 7, at the Madison Avenue Pub and Restaurant, hosted by Isabel Manore, and the final fund raiser will return to Puerto Vallarta around November 14 or 15, at Café Roma with Fox and Cheryl as hosts.

These fundraisers, along with the year long efforts of the crew at Café Roma, raise a substantial portion of the yearly budget for the School of Champions. We are planning to expand the School of Champions in the new school year, so these events become even more important for the financial well-being of the program.

Please attend a fund raiser near you, or plan to visit us in Puerto Vallarta at Café Roma, and don’t forget to take the Feed the Children Vallarta tour when you are in Vallarta! Call Art Fumerton at 044-322-158-8815 for tour reservations.

About the Feed the Children Vallarta (formerly Children of the Dump)

Feed the Children was founded in 1998, originally as Desayunos Para Los Niños de Vallarta, a Mexican non profit, tax exempt corporation. Through private donations, the program feeds more than 1,500 children daily in 5 primary schools around the dump, operates nine day care centers and an after-school program for 300 students in grades 3 through 6, teaching them English, math and computing. The goal of the Feed the Children Vallarta is to ensure education through grade nine and to educate the children of Puerto Vallarta in the skills necessary to rise above poverty.
