Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit's Frida Restaurant was recently awarded with Four Diamonds by the AAA that certifies the high standards and fine dining experience provided by the restaurant.

Riviera Nayarit received good news recently, when the American Automobile Association (AAA) awarded the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit's Frida Restaurant with the Four Diamond Certification.

The hotel, affiliated with the Hotel and Motel Association of Bahía de Banderas, concluded a success story in which three of its specialty restaurants (Frida - Mexican, Piaf - French, and Lucca - Italian) were awarded with the AAA recognition. Furthermore, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is the only all-inclusive hotel in North America that has been awarded with the Five Diamond award, which is the highest recognition bestowed by this organization.

The notification letter signed by Michael Petrone, Director of AAA Touristic Information Development, states that the award is effective immediately and assures that the restaurant has already been included under this classification in the Mexico Travel Guide published by this organization. It also states that less than 3% of all 27,000 food and beverage establishments ranked by AAA can achieve this distinction.

Riviera Nayarit's Convention and Visitor's Bureau congratulates Grupo Velas for this achievement, convinced that it'll become a valuable tool to promote our destination, which is quickly securing a place at the top of travelers' preferences for its top-notch gastronomic offer.
