On August 14th, 1997 Trio opened its doors in Puerto Vallarta for the first time. Blending fresh and innovative ideas with his vast experience cooking in the finest dining establishments in Europe and the USA, Chef Bernhard Guth created one of Puerto Vallarta's favorite restaurants.
In 2001, Chef Ulf Henriksson joined as a partner. Over the years, many things have come and gone here in our beautiful city by the sea. Nowadays, Puerto Vallarta is recognized as a world-class gastronomic destination, where visitors come to enjoy the sun, beautiful beaches, friendly people and the great variety of fine dining restaurants found all around the Banderas Bay region.
Since then, Trio restaurant has grown, but chef-owners Bernhard Guth and Ulf Henriksson still have the same commitment towards the simple idea of using the best local ingredients cooked in a Mediterranean style fused with Mexican influences and ideas from around the world to create a very personal cuisine.
