The final match of the Imagen Vector Tour 2010 was played last December 4 at Paradise Village Group's El Tigre Golf & Country Club in Nuevo Vallarta, placing Riviera Nayarit in the spotlight of the different communications media of the Imagen network.

The tour concluded its fifth edition this year, consolidating itself as the most important tournament for amateur golf. The tour final assembled the winners of the 10 previous stages that were played this year in Torreon, Puebla, Guadalajara, Monterrey, San Luis Potosi, Chihuahua, Tampico, Queretaro, Merida and Mexico City.

The game played at El Tigre was something more than a competition: it was a reward for all participants. The tournament was played with professionalism as a Stableford competition.

This golf tour represented a major promotional asset for Riviera Nayarit, as the destination was promoted at each one of the previous stages when it was announced that winners would earn an all-inclusive pass to the final, which would be played there.

Additionally, last Friday, December 3, Imagen Informativa newscasts with Pedro Ferriz and Adela Micha included live reporting from the golf course. The renowned commentator Pablo Carrillo interviewed Jesus Carmona, General Director of the Golf and Country Club, who pointed out not only the competitive advantages of Paradise Village properties, but of Riviera Nayarit in general.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau of Riviera Nayarit congratulates Paradise Village Group because of their involvement and commitment with the destination throughout this year, and also for promoting important events like the final of the Imagen Vector Tour 2010. Events like this one contribute to attract tourists and promote the economic development of the region in accordance to the priorities defined by the State Development Plan put forward by Nayarit Governor Ney Gonzalez Sanchez.

Paradise Village Group, through the efforts of Graziano Sovernigo and Jesus Carmona, has been able to secure a spot as one of the hosts for the 2011 Duramed Futures Tour ladies' tournament, establishing their continuing support to strengthen the Riviera Nayarit brand.
