This is a 'back door' permanent opportunity, as we have two new projects coming online following confirmation of financing for the new projects, and we believe that fresh leadership helps our teams grow and perform.
 This position comes with excellent compensation and benefits commensurate with a similar position in the US or Canada. We have been in business for 17 years,and have, only developed in the Bahia de Banderas area but we are planning growth throughout the Mexican Pacific region.
 The scope of this position ranges dramatically. From design input, (we believe leaders of our sales and marketing teams often provide the best feedback as they are in touch with the publics impression the most), identifying ongoing target markets, and developing specific programs, launching sales from Palapa's on remote beaches, hosting frequent gala dinner auction events, and seeing the project through to completion.
 Our focus is on using emerging technologies and strategies to work towards a 'low impact' environmental footprint, from site selection to building materials and power generation, as well as integrating the natural habitat into the project. Your experience and knowledge in these areas would be greatly valued in the selection process, so please detail.
 If you are the right person and have worked in this field, you already know the challenges and turns ahead, we are a collaborative team, and expect your experience to contribute to the growth and vision for these projects and the future as well.
 There is no end date to this position, as we are currently looking at many properties from Acapulco to Cabo, and have property in La Paz and Puerto Penasco in preliminary stages of development, so the long term upside is significant and rewarding.
 English is the only language required for this position. You will have a full time bi-lingual P/A. Conversational Spanish is helpful but not required. English MUST be your first language, or you must have exceptional proficiency in English. Do not apply if your English is not excellent.
 Position Duties:
 DOS responsibities as per usual, as well as:
 • work alongside the current site management for a period of approx. 6 weeks leading up to high season and take over all programs on or before Oct 1, 2009.
 • develop new and oversee existing marketing programs, as well as develop sales incentive programs for local as well as international representatives
 • network throughout the region with principle brokers
 • train and supervise the sales practices of 40-50 persons
 • continually assess the effectiveness of marketing programs and reposition
 • recruit representation and implement presentations through out North America
 • develop frequent local events to promote our projects in the targeted communities
 We are looking for one dynamic individual to step in, train and lead our existing team, as well as have the contacts to recruit and manage experienced representatives locally, and in the US and Canada. Travel will be required so the successful applicant will be freely to move within North America.
 What will win you this job? As well as all that is listed above, you will provide conceptual, written strategies for spec selling lots in blocks of 10 or more, with your CV. If you have experience in this area please be specific. We are looking for innovators with imagination.
 COMPENSATION:
 We have provided extensive detail regarding compensation below. As well as the standard compensation, the DOS will also receive a % of sales (to be negotiated) on all lots and homes sold, and providing that the successful applicant remains in the position for a minimum of 2 years, and agreed sales goals are reached during that time, these overrides will be enduring until the designated projects have completely sold.
