The owners, Stewart and Monika Haverlack, have successfully executed over 1,000 special events including over 250 weddings. Owners of the award winning restaurant, Boca Bento Latin Grill, Stewart and Monika Haverlack have been delighting Puerto Vallarta tourists and locals since 2004.

OUR TEAM

Stewart Haverlack - Owner
Stewart is the consummate host and has over 20 years of experience in hospitality and events. He understands every step of the event process ... "Responsive" is his middle name, and he will be delighted to create a one-of-a-kind event for you and your guests. Prior to moving to Vallarta, Stewart was the Senior Vice President of Paula LeDuc Fine Catering, the most renowned caterer in the San Francisco Bay Area whose client's included San Francisco's A-List. Stewart worked for Carlson Hospitality and Restaurants Worldwide as the Sales and Event Manager for eleven properties and hosted special events up to 1000 people. Additionally, Stewart successfully started and operated his own fine dining restaurant and catering company in Warsaw, Poland. He also was directly involved as a Senior Manager in two Food & Beverage start-up companies in Europe.

Monica Haverklack - Owner
Monika has over 15 years of experience in hospitality and events. Monika was an Event Coordinator at the legendary Copa Cabana in New York City that hosted extravagant Weddings and Private Parties for up to 2000 people. Monika's keen eye for detail and cutting edge design is sure to make your event a smashing success. Monika also worked for Carlson Hospitality & Restaurants Worldwide as a Restaurant Manager at the famed Star Canyon Restaurant in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, Monika worked in the Hospitality Industry as an Event Manager, Restaurant and Kitchen Manager in numerous concepts in Eastern Europe.

Juan Zuno - Executive Chef
Juan Zuno is one of Puerto Vallarta's top chefs. Once you do a tasting with Juan, you will experience flavour combinations that explode on your palate and you will quickly understand why his food creations continue to garner praise all over Puerto Vallarta - he is the master of execution - we call him "Grace under Pressure." Juan is currently Executive Chef at the awarding winning Latin Asian Restaurant, Boca Bento. Juan has not only catered numerous events in Mexico, but he has worked extensively in the U.S. as well, including several events in Napa and Sonoma. He is ready to prepare any type of cuisine that you desire and leave your guests with huge smiles on their faces.
