Traveling on Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio, just across the street from Puerto Vallarta's Maritime Terminal, you will find Ave Prisciliano Sanchez, which will take you to the quaint neighborhood of Aramara. This area has the character and charm of Old Mexico with cobblestone streets, open-air markets, and family owned businesses and restaurants, yet conveniently located close to Sam's Club, Walmart, schools and hospitals.

In the Huichol language, Aramara means "a sacred place by the ocean." Our Aramara area photo gallery will illustrate why many families choose to live in this quiet residential and commercial community. These photographs will help you picture yourself living in, or visiting, an area of Puerto Vallarta that has retained all of the traditional Mexican flavors of the original village.
