Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - George Gershwin (1898-1937) was truly one of America's most influential music composers and pianists. He worked in both classical and popular styles, as he and his brother Ira created some of America's most cherished music. Some of his best-known works are Rhapsody in Blue, An American in Paris and Porgy and Bess, which is considered to be one of the most important American operas of the 20th century.

Act II proudly presents 'I've Got Rhythm: The Gershwin Revue' every Tuesday at 7:00 pm on The Main Stage. This fabulous musical production will hold you spellbound as you listen to some of the best American music of the early 20th century, communicated by a stellar cast of actors/musicians.

So what exactly is a revue and how does it differ from a musical? The revue has its roots in 19th-century popular entertainment and melodrama but grew into a substantial cultural presence of its own during its golden years from 1916 to 1932. Similar to musical theatre, the revue art form brings together music, dance and sketches to create a compelling show. In contrast to these, however, revue does not have an overarching story line.
