Puerto Vallarta - When it comes to fine dining, Puerto Vallarta restaurants do it "con gusto." Eating out is a big part of Puerto Vallarta's attraction, offering a wide variety of dining choices in restaurants renowned for their innovative menus and world-renowned chefs serving Mexican, Italian, French, Argentinian, Japanese and International cuisine.
From May 15th through 31st, some of the finest restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and around the Bay of Banderas will be participating in Vallarta Lifestyles' Restaurant Week 2005. During this special gourmet celebration, participating restaurants will be serving special three-course menus at fixed prices ranging from $149 and $249 pesos per person.
Offering unlimited potential for an unforgettable dining experience, Banderas Bay restaurants participating in this promotional program will give diners three choices for each course [appetizer, entrée and dessert] and discounts on selected wines. Many venues will also be featuring live entertainment to enhance your dining pleasure.
Expected to become an annual event, Vallarta Restaurant Week is not only endorsed by local municipal authorities, Puerto Vallarta’s Tourism Bureau (FIDETUR), the Hotel and Motel Association, and the Chamber of Restaurants (CANIRAC), but is also being promoted by both local and Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Queretaro and Aguascalientes media sources.
