Kurt Wenner quit working for NASA in 1982, sold all of his belongings and moved to Rome, Italy to study the work of the masters of the Art world. His public exhibitions such as the incredibly detailed chalk drawings below represent just one facet of his talents.
In 1996 Wenner was commissioned to create a piece for Absolut Vodka’s prestigious artist ad series. The creation of his work for Absolut was filmed for television. Currently he is spending most of his time at his home in Italy, studying art and participating in events and exhibitions. He is considered one of the best living artists in the world.
