Old Town Art Walk 2005-2006
email this pageprint this pageemail usPVNN

The Old Town Art Walk is celebrating its tenth year as one of the most important and popular cultural events in Puerto Vallarta, growing from only six art galleries to 17 this coming season. These 17 galleries will host free cocktail expositions every Wednesday night from 6 to 10 p.m. until April 26, 2006. The participating galleries are located in the historic center of Puerto Vallarta, within easy walking distance of the Main Plaza.

The Art Walk is not a guided tour and there is no admission fee. You are free to start at any gallery on the list and spend as much time as you wish at each one. This is also and excellent way to meet new people and visit with old friends, as well as getting to know the wide variety of artists who present their creations in the different galleries.

Puerto Vallarta has become a very important art center, with more galleries than any other Mexican coastal destination, representing Mexico's finest artists as well as artists from other countries who have chosen Puerto Vallarta as their home.
