This year's charity benefit, scheduled to take place from 5-9 pm at the beautiful Marina Vallarta Club de Golf, promises to be a lively and very entertaining event.
Now in its fourth year, the R.I.S.E. for Hope annual fund raiser supports Puerto Vallarta's Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza, a non-profit shelter for children under the age of 14. Some of these children are orphans, but most come from unbearable situations - having been abused, neglected, or simply abandoned.
This popular charity event features some of Puerto Vallarta’s finest restaurants serving up their tastiest dishes, along with beer, wine and soft drinks. As always, there will be great music and entertainment throughout the evening, including Folkloric dancers, auctions, door prizes and lots of fun.
For a donation of just $450 pesos, you can eat and drink to your heart's content, knowing that you are contributing to a better and brighter tomorrow for these little ones. One hundred percent of all proceeds from this event will go directly to the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (R.I.S.E.) children's shelter.
This non-profit shelter currently houses 40 infants and children under the age of 14 under the care of 5 nuns from the Order of Carmelites of Jesus of Nazareth. Medical, dental, and educational needs, as well as construction and basic operating expenses, are all areas where your participation can help make a significant difference in the lives of these very special children.
Don't miss the fourth annual R.I.S.E. for Hope fund raiser, Saturday, February 18th from 5-9 pm at the Marina Vallarta Club de Golf. Tickets cost just $450 pesos per person and have been on sale since January 1st at the following locations: Que Pasa at Olas Altos 351 in the Romantic Zone; Peyote People at Juarez #222 in downtown Vallarta; the International Friendship Clubhouse in Old Town; and at Gringo's Books and Coffee at Morelos #7 in Bucerias.
