Entrance of the new Santa Maria Mexican Silver Connection.
Saturday afternoon at 6 PM the new Santa Maria Mexican Silver Connection which is next to the Canto Del Sol resort had its grand opening for a number of invited guests.

The owners, mother and daughter Eloisa and Griselda Plascencia hosted a gala affair that had a local priest bless the opening and popular entertainer Kosmas Mamadopoulos sang as guests joined in dancing and singing along with Kos.

There was an exquisite buffet and drinks served to those in attendance who included Canto Del Sol General Manager Rene Rodriguez, and other dignitaries from the resort. A number of local artists that own galleries in the Puerto Vallarta area were also in attendance.

An international affair it was, as people from Hungary, Israel, Russia, Canada, the U.S. and of course Mexico joined in the celebration. Kosmas accommodated the crowd with a mix of ethnic music that ranged from popular Mexican classics to old American rock and roll, and even included a most popular Israeli song that had folks dancing.

The new shop has a superb selection of traditional Mexican jewelry, much of it silver and gold, and it is an extremely large store that includes an impressive inventory. Come by and take a look at the jewelry as the gracious hosts will be more than accommodating. It was a great way to start a Saturday evening in Puerto Vallarta.
