Banderas News Video Journalist Laura Gelezunas was among the guests who "got sauced" at the Grand Opening party on March 30th. Join her as she pulls up a seat and gives us a taste of "the biggest marine party Puerto Vallarta has ever seen."
The seafood buffet at the opening gala gave guests a preview of the restaurant's innovative menu. There were over ten different appetizers to choose from, including shrimp, octopus or marlin tostadas and peppers stuffed with chopped spiced shrimp, octopus and cheese.
After shucking shellfish for 20 years, restaurant owner Francisco Nicolas Hermosillo has developed his own style of preparing seafood in a fresh and original manner using unique recipes and combinations that have been perfected over the course of the years.
With four locations in Guadalajara, El Negro has a well established reputation among diners who appreciate economically priced meals served in a casual atmosphere. The restaurant's creative menu features a savory selection of seafood that satisfies even the most finicky of eaters - and prices starting at just $12 pesos.
Offering good quality meals and great service has made El Negro Restaurant a culinary tradition in Guadalajara, and now the tradition continues here in Puerto Vallarta - keeping their delicious recipes, a great atmosphere, and their flavor madness 100% original, 100% El Negro.
