Summer Cooking Classes June 1st and 15th

Puerto Vallarta - Explore the cultural landscape of cooking and eating in Mexico at Paradise Bakery's popular School of Cooking for Ladies and Gentlemen. For the last two cooking classes scheduled this summer, Liana welcomes special guest chef, Martha Avila, who is originally from Durango, but is now living in Puerto Vallarta.

On Thursday, June 1st, Chiles en Nogada, an ancient and amazing specialty dish invented by nuns in colonial Poblana, is on the menu, accompanied by Tortilla Soup, side dishes and dessert.

Another cultural favorite, Tamales, have been made throughout the continent for over 5000 years, and on Thursday, June 15th, you can learn how to prepare Mole and Tamales, plus side dishes and dessert in this hands-on class.

Classes include all of the ingredients to prepare the food and appropriately matched wines to enjoy with the meal at the end of the class. Printed recipes for all items will be provided to take home, so you can re-create the meal anytime you like.

Classes cost just $500 per person, which must be must be paid in advance. All classes begin at 11 am and class size is limited, so make your reservations early.
