A Spot of Africa in Puerto Vallarta PVNN
It has been a long time coming but at last it is here... A Spot of Africa Art Gallery and Gayarta Realty are celebrating their Grand Opening with a Sangria and a Sunset party on Friday, Dec 15th from 5-8 pm.
This concept offers clients a one-stop shopping experience - starting with the purchase of their Puerto Vallarta home, moving on to the decorating, then enhancing it with beautiful international art.
A Spot of Africa Gallery offers spectacular stone pieces from Zimbabwe at very reasonable prices. These unique pieces are all handcrafted, one-of-a-kind originals that cannot be found anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta, or Mexico for the matter.
These fabulous sculptures need to be seen to be appreciated. The craft has been handed down for generations by the native people of Zimbabwe. One can not believe the artistry and attention to detail accomplished with such primitive tools.
The stone work is complimented by hand woven Zulu Baskets and fabric throws, crafted by the local women and children. This is all set to a background of bright vibrant colors of the talented gallery owner and artist Bridged Lott.
Bridged is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa and now has artwork proudly displayed on three continents. Already running the original A Spot of Africa Gallery with her husband Brian in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, her new art gallery in Puerto Vallarta is small - but stunning.
Upstairs you will find Gayarta Realty, owned by Neil Harris a former Toronto, Canada realtor. Gayarta is a full service realtor specializing in Buyer Representation. Neil is an Accredited Buyer Representative, sanctioned by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Offering everything in Art and Real Estate, this is an exciting new concept for the Puerto Vallarta home buyer, combining the expertise of Neil Harris from Gayarta Realty www.gayartarealty.com with the art of Bridged Lott www.bridgedlott.com, gorgeous African decor and stunning Shona stone sculpture.
Open Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 to 2, A Spot of Africa is located in unit 2A of the Malecon One building, next to the Malibu Restaurant on Paseo de Ordaz in downtown Puerto Vallarta. For more information, call: (322) 222-0233. |
