Are you taking enough time to stop and enjoy the finer things in life? If not, you should know that some of the finest restaurants and hotels in Puerto Vallarta will be hosting the First Annual Vallarta Wine Fest from February 27th-March 3rd, 2007.
Organized by La Petite France owner Nacho Cadena, along with several important members of Puerto Vallarta's restaurant and business community, the Vallarta Wine Fest will feature the best in wine and food from around the world at some of the finest gourmet restaurants around Banderas Bay, including:
La Petite France, Emiliano at Casa Velas, Andrea at Velas Vallarta, Porto Bello, Cafe des Artistes, Thierry's Prime Steak House, Dolcetto, La Dolce Vitta, Trio, Vitea, Le Kliff, Frascati, Bella Vista at Marival, Piaff at Grand Velas and Rouge at Mayan Palace.
During the festival, you can sample fine wines at free wine tasting events hosted by each participating restaurant's sommelier, enjoy exquisite fare and learn more about wines of interest at participating restaurants. [Schedule Below]
The restaurants will also be offering special discounted wine menus featuring fine wines from Spain, Argentina, Chile, Australia, France, Italy and Mexico by Casa Madero, L.A. Cetto, Anfitrion, Viparmex and America Wines.
Organizers hope that the Vallarta Wine Fest, Jalisco plus Nayarit, will soon take its rightful place among the many world-class events that Puerto Vallarta hosts every year. As such, they are planning several wine-related cultural events at various locations around town during the five-day festival.
