Sol y Luna Contemporary Art Gallery, located at Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez #155 in Old Town Puerto Vallarta, invites you to a unique Día de los Muertos Celebration, Art Exhibition and Wine Reception on Wednesday, October 31st from 6 to 10 pm.
Aptly named "Amor de Calaveras," this special art exhibition will feature Día de los Muertos paintings by Hector Ponce, Juan Hoffmann, Armando Romero, Ammenaul Cruz and other talented Mexican artists, as well as beautiful Catrinas by Amador Toscano.
Amador Toscano´s Lady Catrinas are all handmade by the artist very intricately with Paper Mache. They have great personalities with a touch of sophistication, elegant dresses, feathered hats and boas.
This special art exhibition, which will remain on display until Tuesday, November 6th, is brought to you by Galería Sol y Luna owner and curator, Alejandro Baez, who will also present a Day of the Dead Ceremonial Event performed by Shaman Richardo. This ritual will cleanse and energize the souls of the Living and the memories of the Dead.
Art Dealer Joanne Cimini, who just arrived from Philadelphia to live in Puerto Vallarta and is now the Gallery's new Manager, will be on hand to welcome you.
