The 6th Annual R.I.S.E. for Hope Fund Raising Event "A Valentine's / Friends Fiesta" is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 9th, 2008 from 5 to 9 pm at The American School in Marina Vallarta.
Known locally as R.I.S.E., the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza is a non-profit shelter in Puerto Vallarta for babies and children under the age of 14. Some of these children are orphans, but most come from unbearable situations having been abused, neglected, or simply abandoned. R.I.S.E. gives these children a safe and loving place to live because they have no other choice in their lives.

This year, ticket prices have been reduced! Pre-sale tickets will be available by early January at a cost of $400 pesos ($40 USD or CDN.) Tickets at the door will be $450 pesos ($45 US or CDN.)
