With villa-style hotels located on Banderas Bay in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta, The Villa Group has created a selection of golf and spa packages available throughout 2008.
Situated in Nuevo Vallarta along the Riviera Nayarit, Villa del Palmar Flamingos Beach Resort & Spa is one of the newest properties on this stretch of unspoiled beach. The upscale, family-friendly resort features 275 ocean view suites overlooking the bay and the Pacific beyond.
Villa suites offer kitchenettes, while spacious one-, two- and three-bedroom suites all feature a whirlpool tub in the master bathroom, separate dining area, complete kitchen and private ocean viewbalcony or ground floor terrace with wet bar.
For recreation, the property is highlighted by a lagoon-style, multi-level swimming pool and daily activities held poolside or on the beach. Dining options include themed dinner shows, the Nouveau Mexican Latino specialties at Bellavista Restaurant & Bar, open-air Italian dining at La Trattoria and gourmet pizzas at the casual Pizza Bar.
The property’s centerpiece, however, is its newly rebranded Tatewari Spa. An intimate spa experience designed in European-Mexican style, the 17,000 sq. ft. facility is a unique healing sanctuary for body, mind and spirit that takes a holistic approach through its regional influences, serene ambience and healing treatments.
For individual therapy sessions, visitors are taken to one of the spa’s 13 indoor treatment suites or two exclusive VIP treatment suites with private Jacuzzi and shower. The facility also features a spa retail shop, fitness studio, and full-service beauty salon and barbershop. Those up for the ultimate can enjoy beachfront cabana treatments or therapies provided in the privacy of their suite.
Villa del Palmar Flamingos also features an International deli and the Palmita Market, stocked with most items offered at local supermarkets. For groups, the 17,000 sq. ft. convention center is equipped with the latest in sound and light technology.
Villa del Palmar Flamingos’ Golf Package covers three-night accommodations in a one-bedroom suite, daily breakfast buffet, welcome fruit basket with truffles, daily 18-hole round of golf for two, roundtrip transfers to the course and taxes for $651 USD January 3 - April 15, for $568 USD from April 16 – October 31 and for $692 USD from November 1 – December 20. Rates are per person and are based on double occupancy.
Golf is provided at the nearby Marina Vallarta Golf Course designed by Joe Finger, or Vista Vallarta’s highly acclaimed Jack Nicklaus course and the equally challenging Tom Weiskopf course.

Fifty suites of the three-phase project are now available for vacation stays. Villa La Estancia will open the second phase of its 245 suites, its main restaurant and lobby this month, with the final phase slated for a summer completion. Bookings are currently being accepted based on these opening dates.
With its lushly landscaped grounds featuring a free-form swimming pool, dancing fountains and whirlpool spas, this tranquil, upscale property is a favorite with adults. Spacious villa suites range from 1,200 sq. ft. for one-bedrooms to 3,350 sq. ft. for three-bedrooms. Deluxe guestrooms are also available. Each features a complete kitchen with three-stool breakfast bar, full-size refrigerator, four-burner stovetop with oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, garbage disposal, dishes,cookware and utensils.
For dining, guests can enjoy the casual poolside La Parrilla and the upscale La Casona – the only restaurant in Nuevo Vallarta to feature Kobe and Angus Certified Beef. A private on-site fitness center offers the latest machines for muscle toning and cardiovascular workouts. The center also features two large flat screen televisions and a central music system allowing guests to enjoy their workout even more. Separate men's and women's lockers provide full-service facilities including restrooms and showers.
Bordered by sundecks with umbrellas and loungers, a two-level free form swimming pool is enhanced with gentle waterfalls, garden islets and a swim-up bar. Three 12-person whirlpool tubs look out to the beach from the lawn and gardens. Guests also have access to the Palmita Market, Tatewari Spa, area golf and beach concessions, as well as all restaurant and bar options at the adjacent Villa delPalmar Flamingos.
Villa La Estancia’s Golf Package features three-night accommodations in a one-bedroom ocean view villa suite, a 50-minute couple’s massage and the same inclusions as the Villa del Palmar Flamingos’ golf plan for $1,037 USD from January 3 - April 15, for $996 USD from April 16 – October 31 and for $1,046 USD from November 1 – December 20. Rates are per person and are based on double occupancy.
Situated south of The Villa Group’s two Nuevo Vallarta properties in Puerto Vallarta’s Hotel District between the Marina and downtown, Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta attracts both families and couples seeking a relaxed environment. This upscale beachfront resort offers 562 guest rooms, and one- andtwo-bedroom suites with furnished balconies.
