The date is coming up soon for the Sixth Annual R.I.S.E. for Hope Fundraising Event, so mark your calendar now to enjoy a spectacular evening of food and fun to benefit the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza children's shelter in Puerto Vallarta.
Those who have attended past R.I.S.E. for Hope Fundraisers know that there will be plenty of delicious food from Vallarta's most popular restaurants. Already onboard to provide some gourmet fare are Daiquiri Dick's, Café de Artistes, Mauricio's (Ixtapa), Outback, Trio and many more.
Beer, wine and soft drinks will be served. A variety of live entertainment is scheduled throughout the evening including Folkloric dancing, music and of course the children's performance.
There will be plenty of time to peruse the items in the silent auction. Many local artists, restaurateurs, "pampering" service providers and other businesses have donated some really great things.
Don't miss your chance to participate in the Live Auction. A "day of beauty" by Len of blu by Len Salon and Spa, a romantic getaway to Hacienda San Angel, an entire day of adventure at Canopy de Los Veranos, a golf package at Vista Vallarta that includes some new clubs, and some fun tours from Vallarta Adventures will go to the highest bidders.
New this year, raffle tickets are being sold ahead of the event and you don't have to be present to win. Prizes are a seven night stay at one of the Playa del Sol resorts, an authentic Mata Ortiz pot and dinner for two at Mama Dolores. Tickets are $20 pesos each or 3 for $50 pesos and can be purchased for any committee member or contact Chris at 221-5451 or Pauline at 221-5660.
This year, ticket prices have actually been reduced! Pre sale tickets will be available by early January at a cost of $400 pesos ($40 USD or CDN.) Tickets at the door will be $450 pesos ($45 US or CDN.)
