Part lounge, part restaurant, part aroma therapy bar, part gift shop, Uncommon Ground Buddha Lounge is a unique gathering place that will delight your senses...
Operated by Lydia and Anne, Buddha Lounge is a place where you can indulge your appetite with one of their tantalizing appetizers, gourmet salads or wraps. Quench your thirst with one of 70+ drink offerings. Check out what's on tap at their aroma therapy inhalation bar, or do some shopping in their global imports boutique.
The menu features healthy International specialties, such as the Tibetan Cloud, a goat cheese, basil and pine nut salad for $100 pesos; Planet Utopia a pear, pecan, Brie and cranberry salad for $90 pesos, Pesto Shrimp Wraps at $130 pesos and Mediterranean Shrimp Platter with artichokes and pesto for just $195 pesos.
Beverages include everything from Italian Sodas at $20 pesos to bottles of Mexican Petillant Champagne for $200 pesos. They also serve a selection of lovely desserts with prices ranging from $45 to $60 pesos.
Several rooms with overstuffed couches and chairs set the mood for relaxation. There is a book and CD library, areas for sipping and chatting, meeting new people and enjoy a little tasty repast, and occasionally, live music.
