Avalon Travel Selects Puerto Vallarta Author for Eighth Edition of Popular Moon Guide

Puerto Vallarta - Local writer and business woman Robin Noelle was recently selected to author the eighth edition of the popular Moon Guide to Puerto Vallarta due out in 2009.
Published by Avalon Travel Publishing, the largest independent travel publisher based in the United States, Moon Handbooks are known for their eclectic authors and original content. Moon Handbooks appeal to a wide variety of travelers, particularly those looking for an out of the ordinary experience in their selected destination.
"I've always enjoyed Moon Handbooks immensely as a traveler, and now I'm excited to be writing for the series," said Noelle. "Avalon Travel is known for encouraging authors to develop their unique voices. Even from my beginning book proposal, they encouraged me to take the current edition and outline and make it my own."
The Moon Guide to Puerto Vallarta covers not only Puerto Vallarta but Riviera Nayarit, the Jalisco coast, and inland cities such as Mascota and San Sebastian. Noelle, a year-round resident of Puerto Vallarta, owns and operates Muñeca Public Relations, a full-service public relations and marketing company for both local and international clients. She is a frequent contributor to a number of websites and magazines, including the website for the "bible" of Mexico travel, The People's Guide to Mexico, also published by Avalon Travel.
Having fallen in love with Mexico at the age of eight, Noelle has been a frequent traveler throughout the country. After relocating to Puerto Vallarta from Portland, Oregon in early 2007, she wrote a guide for other non-retirees looking to make a permanent move to Mexico titled, So You Want to Move to Mexico: The Ultimate Relocation Guide for Slackers, Spendthrifts & Ne'er-Do-Wells, which is currently under consideration by publishers.
