On Friday, November 14th from 7-9 pm, Cassandra Shaw will be throwing an anniversary party to celebrate the success of her new jewelry, accessories and clothing store on the south side of Puerto Vallarta.
For the past nine years, artist and jewelry designer Cassandra Shaw has been devoted to designing and fabricating jewelry in Puerto Vallarta. But in October 2007, when she opened her newest jewelry, accessories and clothing store at 276 Basilio Badillo, she put the focus on preserving Mexico's culture and traditions.
Besides Cassandra's one-of-a-kind beautiful silver and stone jewelry, the store features a stunning accessories and clothing line from Pineda Covalin, named after owners Ricardo Covalin and Cristina Pineda of Mexico City.
"They brought the company together to preserve the culture and traditions of Mexico. Incorporated in designs are murals, archaeological pieces, myths and legends. Each fabric has a different story depicting the history. I think clients are going to be very happy to be able to bring home not just a piece of jewelry but another symbol of their trip to Puerto Vallarta that tells a story in a most fashionable, classical way," Cassandra says.
