Alaska Diner: A Taste of Home in Vallarta
email this pageprint this pageemail usMike Sole - PVNN

Open Monday through Saturday from 5 pm to 1 am, Alaska's Diner is tucked away in the Romantic Zone of Old Town Puerto Vallarta at Lazaro Cardenas #515.
Alaska's Diner is a taste of home nestled in the charm of Puerto Vallarta. Their cozy diner with its Alaskan theme welcomes visitors with a taste for Classic American cooking and a home style meal at an economical price. Comfortable, casual, with Classic Rock on the juke box they welcome everyone looking for a wonderful meal and a taste of home.

They also serve up beer and wine so feel free to just stop by for a visit and to meet new friends, share a drink and relax. Whatever your pleasure they are there to serve you at Alaska's Diner.

Alaska's Diner is tucked away in the Romantic Zone of Old Town Puerto Vallarta at Lazaro Cardenas #515, almost 8 blocks from the beach and the frenzy of tourists. With a menu specially designed for the US/Canadian visitor and locals alike, you'll find it a refreshing change from the usual formulas and trends.

Whether your tastes long for Chili Dogs ($35 pesos), Mac & Cheese ($20 pesos) or Fresh Fish ($100 pesos), Thai Curries ($100 pesos) or Steaks ($100 pesos), the food and down-to-earth prices are the lure.

The dιcor is simple with Alaskan fishing charts papering the walls, a fully loaded jukebox, and a pool table right in the middle. Classic Rock is usually being played and concert DVDs are featured on a large format projection screen every Saturday night.

The current hours for dinner (and trailer food) are 5 pm to 1 am Monday through Saturday.

I encourage you to stop by for a home style meal. When you go, tell Roger, Mike from BanderasNews says "hello."
