Pie in the Sky has two bakeries in the Banderas Bay area: Heroe de Nacozari #202 in Bucerías and at Lázaro Cardenas #247 in Puerto Vallarta. For more information, visit PieInTheSky.com.mx.

Pie in the Sky cake artist Zulem Angel Mendoza can make your cake as unique as your Mother.

A wide selection of Mother's Day art cakes are also available at both locations.
Puerto Vallarta - Banderas Bay's favorite bakery, Pie in the Sky, has been the Bay's choice for the finest cakes, pies and other sweet treats for over 22 years. For this Mother's Day, select from a wide selection of cakes, mousse hearts and a new favorite... cupcakes made through and through with yummy Belgium chocolate!

Make your cake as unique as your Mother by adding a personalized design. By ordering before May 3, you can take home your own personalized piece of art. Inspired by Banderas Bay's popular Art Walks, our own cake artist Zulem Angel Mendoza will create an individually designed, intricate cake, making for a truly unforgettable gift.

These miniature edible pieces of art are available for $175 Pesos per cake and are available at either location. A wide variety of art cakes will be available at both locations if you miss the May 3 deadline to personalize your cake.

Using only the finest natural ingredients, many of them imported from around the world, sets Pie in the Sky apart from other local bakeries. Each item is lovingly handmade from scratch and does not include any trans-fats. They also have a variety of gluten-free products for those that our allergic to flour or choose from a selection of vegan or sugar free desserts.

Their dedication to using only the freshest natural ingredients and their attention to quality and customer service is why Pie in the Sky has been selected by residents and tourists alike as the Bay's "Best Bakery" for the past six years in the Lifestyles Magazine Reader's Choice Awards.

In 1998, Pie in the Sky was bought by Susan Drexler and Philip J. Price, a couple from the San Francisco Bay Area. Together with their son Scott Miller, Executive Chef of Market Hall Catering and Cactus Taqueria in Oakland and Berkeley, California, they introduced additional gourmet items while maintaining the quality and integrity of the original Pie in the Sky product line.

Today, a dedicated staff of artisan bakers, under the direction of Manuela Guerrero Esparza with 18 years experience as the bakery's pastry chef, turns out fresh baked goodies every day.

Their delicious cakes, pies, cupcakes, muffins, coffee, tea and their famous triple-chocolate "Besos," with their molten-fudge center, are available daily at two convenient locations: Heroe de Nacozari #202 in Bucerias (open from 8 am to 10 pm) and at Lázaro Cardenas #247 (at the corner of Avenida Vallarta - open from 9 am to 10 pm) in Puerto Vallarta.

Come discover all of the delectable offerings of Pie in the Sky, where you can taste the difference when only quality ingredients are used.
