Have you tried to find a nice T-shirt featuring Bucerias, La Cruz or other areas of the beautiful Bahía de Banderas? They are very hard to come by. While the "one tequila, two tequila" shirts appeal to some, others are looking for something a little classier.
This year, Beta Sigma Phi women's service sorority of Bucerias and La Cruz sold T-shirts at many events. They were very popular and people wanted to know if there would be a new version for next year.
Well, not only will there be a shirt, but it could feature a photograph taken or art created by you!
Beta Sigma Phi's "One Great Photo Contest" is open to all! The winning photo or art work will grace the t-shirts that the group will sell next season at our booth at the Bucerias Art Walk and other Beta Sigma Phi events.
Here are the rules, and they are very simple:
What are we looking for?: The photos or artwork should be suitable for men's or women's t-shirts. Shirt color will be decided on after the artwork is selected.
Eligibility: Amateur or professional artists and photographers. Work submitted must be original works of the artist.
Theme: Visions of Bahia de Banderas. Remember, Bahia de Banderas is the name of the municipality as well as the name of the Bay.
Submissions: We prefer electronic submissions. Limit of 3 entries per person. This can be photos, photo collage, digital artwork or a photo of your own drawing or painting can be submitted.
Deadline: July 31, 2009
Prize: The winner will have their artwork featured on the T-shirts, and will receive a T-shirt as a prize.

Names will not be on the works when they are judged, judges will select the winning photo by number only. Artists retain the rights to their submissions. The winning artist will be asked to agree to not use their submission on other T-shirts, but will retain all other rights to their artwork. |
