Leno Morfin Art Show: 'The Dreams to See'

Don't miss the opening of Leno Morfin's new art show, 'The Dreams to See' at Biblioteca Los Mangos, on June 5th at 8 pm. For more information, please contact Maris Kilk at (322) 222-2864.
Mexican painter Leno Morfin is coming back to Mexico, and you can meet him at the opening of his new art show, 'The Dreams to See' at the Puerto Vallarta Public Library, Biblioteca Los Mangos, on June 5th at 8 pm. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be offered.

Leno will also be offering free art workshops on traditional Chinese water-print painting at the library on June 6th and 13th at 11 am.

Leno was born in the Sierra Madre of Jalisco, at the age of sixteen, his family immigrated to the United States. After many years in Chicago the artist comes back to Mexico. Among his future plans is a tour in Mexican museums together with the French artist Louis Durot with whom Leno has been exhibiting throughout the world.

5 de junio a las 8 de la tarde en la Biblioteca los Mangos.
Bebidas y tentempiés de cortesía.

Sábado 6 y 13 de junio a las 11 am impartirá gratuitamente un taller de pintura china, una técnica con tradiciones antiguas que Leno nos trae desde China: obra creada en el agua e imprimida en el papel.

Leno nació en la Sierra Madre de Jalisco, emigró con su familia siendo un joven a Chicago. Después de 36 años en el extranjero el artista regresa a vivir en México para trabajar y exhibir en su país dentro de su propia cultura. Para un futuro próximo esta planeando su gira por museos de México junto con el escultor francés Louis Durot con el que ha exhibido mundialmente.
