I invite everyone to let visitors from abroad know that coming to Mexico is a great experience, that Mexico is not only a beautiful country, but also a strong country, capable of dealing with and overcoming the greatest adversity and that we welcome them to our beaches, cities and towns,” he said.
At the Esplanade leading to the Monument of Francisco I. accompanied by his wife, Margarita Zavala, President Calderón said that during this international economic and health situation, Mexico needs all Mexicans to promote the country’s greatness, which includes its history, culture, music and traditions.
“We must tell everyone that we are a strong country, with unity and a unique identity and despite the trials we have undergone, particularly recently, Mexico is united and pulling through," he said.
That is why it is crucial for us to work shoulder to shoulder, since Vive México is a call to action and unity for all.

At the same time, figures from the artistic, sports and cultural world will promote Mexico's tourist resorts both within the country and in the rest of the world while the media will disseminate Vive México.
“The point is for them to say what is true: that Mexico lives, and lives intensely, through each of its people, in each of its neighborhoods, in its fields and in its cities," he said. |
