Hawaiian Rockers Pepper Officially Named to Headline Surf Cruise Cup 2009

Pepper joins surfing legend Robert August, pro surfers Colin Mc Phillips, Mary Osborne, Kira Sheppard, and other surfing musicians in the 2nd annual Surf Cruise Cup 2009 pro-am STOKE INFUSION MUSIC ADVENTURE at sea.
Local music legends such as San Clemente’s Dubluva, Fullerton’s Jonathan Blake, and San Clemente’s pro surfer/musician Dustin Franks are all aboard to jam and surf. As the Surf Cruise Cup is a work in progress and considered a very necessary vacation for pro surfers and musicians from their summer touring grinds, it became necessary to make sure everyone aboard respects the beach and surfing cultures in general.
This year ALL musicians aboard the Surf Cruise Cup surf.Royal Caribbean International operates the Mariner of the Seas, one of the most exciting cruise ships ever built to sail this year from L.A. Halloween week. This spectacular ship was designed with enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and state-of-the-art recreational facilities including a rock-climbing wall, ice-skating rink, and a full size basketball court.

This year the charities will be administered by local Lions Clubs and the Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club.
