In an effort to boost the local economy, Route 200 Bar & Grill, a good old-fashioned biker bar located next to the Farmacia Guadalajara in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, known to the locals as simply 'Choppers,' is introducing Noche de Vecinos (Neighbors Night) on Wednesday nights.
The idea is to stimulate the local economy in the Banderas Bay area, which in recent months has been pummeled - first by the global economic downturn, then by sensationalistic media reports of drug related violence in Mexico, and finally by the media's overreaction to the Swine Flu scare - through a "neighbors promoting neighbors" approach that benefits area businesses and their clients.
Starting with fellow business "neighbors" in Valle Dorado, PV Choppers purchased gift certificates (for Gym inscriptions, restaurants, salons, etc) to be raffled off every Wednesday night.
On Wednesday nights, every time a customer purchases a drink they will receive a ticket for that night's raffle, which will be held at 12 midnight. Noches de Vecinos also feature live music by "Saraxuana" (Spanish and English) starting at 9:45 pm and the kitchen is open until 12:30 am serving delicious hamburgers, nachos and steak burritos and other favorites...
 Route 200 Bar & Grill is open from 2 pm until 1 am Tuesday through Sunday. So anytime you're in the neighborhood, stop in and enjoy live music every Wednesday thru Saturday or Karaoke on Tuesdays starting at 9:30 pm, the COLDEST BEER in town, some awesome grub and some laid back people in a great biker bar you'll want to keep riding back to.
