Teatro Limón - Puerto Vallarta's Interactive Eatery Miami Herald September 11, 2009
Why not have a lot of fun along with your surf and turf, rack of lamb, or the three- to five-course gourmet meal of your choice?
Teatro Limón is an interactive and super friendly eatery like no other. The eccentric Canadian chef-owner Bruce Byng has more tricks up his sleeve than a Las Vegas card shark - and he is always eager to share them.
Man, can this guy whip up a meal! And the neat thing is, you not only get to swoon over the result but witness how he did it, so you leave the place empowered to do yourself proud in the kitchen.
You find no boring fixed menu here, Teatro Limón's innovative plates constantly changing. Every cocktail imaginable comes out of the fully stocked bar just the way you like it and wine pairings are suggested, with several vintages available by the glass.
All in all, an evening at Teatro Limón is an unforgettable and yes, somewhat theatrical experience, ideal for sharing with family, a group of friends or that someone special.
Prior to settling in Puerto Vallarta, Bruce trained in Toronto, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Lyon, creating Epicurean magic at the Kingston, Jamaica Hilton and the Havana, Cuba Melia, as well as Toronto's prestigious King Edward and Windsor Arms hotels.
Open Tuesday-Saturday evenings from 5 to 11:30 pm, Teatro Limón is located at Cajon de Limon #1 on the corner of Maria Montessori, behind Hospital San Javier in Puerto Vallarta's Hotel Zone. Credit cards accepted. For reservations call (322) 225-2606. |
