Like some other kids, 12-year-old Trevor McKinney believed in the goodness of human nature. Like many other kids, he was determined to change the world for the better. Unlike most other kids, he succeeded.
Free Movies are shown every Tuesday night at 7:30 pm at the SETAC Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center. On Tuesday, December 1st come out for a screening of Pay it Forward, an inspiring movie with a message for everyone, starring Helen Hunt, Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment. Everyone is welcome, and like all of the community center's services, the movie is free, but please bring a bag of candy for the Posada for the kids at the HIV clinic.The purpose of the SETAC Puerto Vallarta Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Community Center, located at Constitucion #427 on the corner of Manuel Dieguez, is to provide essential services to the GLBT community, including support in recovery from alcoholism and other afflictions, physical and mental health treatment and referrals, education and recreation in an atmosphere of safety, free from discrimination.
