Earlier this month, Vallarta artists Angeline Kyba, Javier Niño, Ireri Topete, Cathy von Rohr, Fernando Sanchez, Cecilia Bojorquez, Edward Alexandre and Ruben Cham got together at Cuates y Cuetes on Playa Los Muertos to plan their next open studio tours.
The first event will be January 23 and January 24, when the artists' will open their studios from 10 am to 10 pm. Come, see their work and where they do it; do something yourselves, a drawing, perhaps; buy a piece of art or commission a portrait or just enjoy the ambience in the studios of some of Mexico's finest artists. Please pick up maps and invitations at the tourism office at city hall and join in this free event.
