Spotlight on Vallarta: The Bucerías Art Walk

In this edition of Spotlight on Vallarta, host Kori Rayburn takes us to Bucerías Nayarit for a look at one of the most unique art walks of it's kind - the Bucerías Art Walk. Over 17 galleries participate in this bi-monthly event, where they "Bring Art to the Streets" giving tourists and residents alike the opportunity to stroll under the palm trees and enjoy traditional Mexican taste treats and cocktails while discovering the un-discovered art and artists of Nayarit and Jalisco.
The Bucerias Art Walk Plaza is located on Lazaro Cardenas, the main thoroughfare of Bucerias. Behind the almost hidden archway is a lovely bricked patio area, shaded by palm trees and alive with art. Within the walls of this tranquil setting are 4 galleries, and a cooking school. Painting and Mosaic Workshops are held under the palms.
