The family event of the season is almost here! The Sixth Annual Puerto Vallarta Dog Show, Perrotón, will take place on March 28, 2010 at Los Mangos Library. You, your kids, and of course, your best friend can enjoy a fun-filled day of family activities while having a doggone good time!
The fun begins at 8 am with a 1K master-and-dog race, divided into five categories by the weight of the dog. The course will begin on Avenida Los Tules in front of the Fluvial Vallarta sales office and end at Avenida Circunvalación del Róbalo, alongside the library, where the prizes will be awarded.
The second part of the show will feature the traditional competitions for canine beauty and attire, as well as a new category: "Disguise Your Dog."
Tickets are now being sold at the Library; the cost is $300 Pesos per race entry and $150 Pesos for the other competitions; general admission is just $20 Pesos. All proceeds will further PV Animal’s protection, sterilization, adoption, and education efforts.

Perrotón 6 Edición El 28 de Marzo

El 28 de Marzo en la Biblioteca de Los Mangos el PV Animal realiza su tradicional Perrotón, en su 6ª. Edición hay novedades, pues iniciará con una carrera con mascotas a las 8:00 am, será un recorrido de 1 Km, en 5 categorías de acuerdo al peso del perro, parte de la Av. Los Tules enfrente de la caseta de ventas de Fluvial Vallarta y termina en la Av. Circunvalación del Róbalo a un costado de la Biblioteca de los Mangos, donde será la premiación y se realizará la segunda parte del evento que son los tradicionales concursos de belleza, disfraces y el nuevo "disfrázate de tu perro."
Las inscripciones son en la Biblioteca, los costos: Carrera, $300.00, Concursos $150.00 y entrada general $20.00. Todo lo recaudado es para continuar con las actividades de protección, esterilización, adopción y educación que realiza el PV Animal.
