Puerto Vallarta Blood Drive - Give the Gift of Life!
When: Wednesday, March 24th - 8 am
Where: Los Mangos Library
How Much: Free Admission
Why: There is a critical shortage of blood supply for emergency medical needs in the municipality. Every year several American tourists and residents have been hospitalized with an urgent need for blood. Please consider donating if possible or encourage others to do so. Click HERE for more info.
"Who is Who" in PV Public Security
When: Wednesday, March 24th 10:30 am
Where: Marriott Casa Magna Marina Vallarta
How Much: Free Admission
Why: There are many distinct types of police and public security officials in Mexico. Come and learn through a power-point presentation about the municipal, state and federal public security authorities. Learn to differentiate tourist, preventative, and transit police by their uniforms, areas of patrol and responsibilities. Click HERE for more info.
American Citizen Services Outreach in Vallarta
When: Wednesday, April 7th 9 to 11 am
Where: International Friendship Club (Tel: 222-5466)
Why: To facilitate services to American Citizens in Vallarta. (Note: This is the last outreach service programmed in Vallarta until October 2010.)
Consular Agency Community Network Breakfast
When: Friday, April 16th 9 to 11 am
Where: Plaza Galerias Restaurant Liverpool

How Much: $90 pesos includes a buffet breakfast & tip
Why: To provide an opportunity to approach Consular Agency staff for general information as well as to have a place to network, make new friends, greet old ones, promote your business-charity & find out what's going on in the Riviera Nayarit & Vallarta!

International Altruism Festival
When: Sunday, May 2nd 6 pm
Where: Marriott Casa Magna Marina Vallarta
How Much: Pesos $300 presale, $400 at the door
Why: To provide a forum for 24 local Charity Organizations to present their mission, vision and needs. 43 Vallarta Restaurants provide food and beverages. Local entertainment professionals provide dance presentations and music. All proceeds are divided equally between the 24 Charity Organizations participating. A wonderful garden party with a purpose!
