Last Chance to See Los Bambinos at Viva Polly G. Vicars - PVNN April 13, 2010
| Los Bambinos, Sweet Talk and their biggest fan. | | UPDATE April 14, 2010: Due to circumstances beyond their control, Los Bambinos have cancelled their April 16th show at Viva Bar. They hope to have more shows there next season.
Those of you who have never seen Los Bambinos perform and those of us who never miss a show, have one last chance to see them perform this season, along with that incredible duet, Sweet Talk, at 8 pm on Friday, April 16th at Viva Bar on the south side of Puerto Vallarta.
Their show, with original music, Latin favorites and covers of the Beatles, the Monkees, the Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the Eagles, Chubby Checker and more of your old favorites, continues to delight audiences - young, old, straight, gay, local and tourist.
Once again, Rose Marie and Linda Marie, the mother and daughter duo from Oregon known as "Sweet Talk," will come on stage and perform a few numbers with Los Bambinos' beautiful voices backing them up.
Don't miss their last performance of the season at 8 pm on Friday, April 16th at Viva Bar on Calle Olas Altas #508. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are on sale now at only $200 pesos each. Reserved seats are available with advance purchase of tickets and are recommended as these guys have the hottest show in Vallarta and it sells out fast!
You can get your tickets from Los Bambinos as they stroll and sing through the restaurants of the Romantic Zone, by calling them at (322) 222-6412 or 222-4357 - or you can call or write to me at (322) 223-1371 or phvicars(at)gmail.com. See y'all there! Polly G. Vicars and her husband of almost 60 years, Hubert (a.k.a. "Husband") retired to Puerto Vallarta in 1988 and soon became active members of several charitable organizations. Polly is the author of "Tales of Retirement in Paradise: Life in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico" [a sell-out!] and "More Tales of Retirement in Puerto Vallarta and Around the World." Proceeds from the sale of her books go to the America-Mexico Foundation, a scholarship foundation that is their passion.
