Cuba Will Host Meeting about Women in Tourism Cuban News Agency go to original August 31, 2010
Havana, Cuba - Leaders of the Mexican organization of women who work in tourism, CONFETUR, will exchange with representatives of the Cuban Women Federation and of the ministry of Public Health in a meeting of the organization to take place in Havana from September 2-6.
The event will be attended by women from Chihuahua, Guadalajara, Merida, Puerto Vallarta, Veracruz and Mexico DF, home to CONFETUR’s headquarters.
The Mexican women will also meet with Cuban tourism experts to talk about the work of women in travel management and their professional training.
Participants in the event will tour the historical center of Old Havana and will visit the Viñales Valley, both places declared national and world heritage sites.
CONFETUR seeks to foster training, development and spirit of cooperation among women who work in tourism in Mexico. It encourages relations with similar organizations and its providers, with the goal of intensifying trade relations and unifying the interests of the group. |
