Los Mangos Night of the Iguana Fundraiser

Don't miss the Party of the Year with the character and ambiance of the Glamorous Vallarta of the 60´s and 70´s when Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton lived in the area. The party's theme will be 'The Night of the Iguana' and it will take place on Friday, November the 19th from 6 pm to 2 am, with all proceeds benefitting Biblioteca Los Mangos.
Entrance fee is only $100 pesos and includes a free drink. Inside there will be open bar and great food available for $50 pesos each. Please invite your friends and join us. Its going to be great fun. There will be live music and a DJ, with all proceeds benefitting the Puerto Vallarta Public Library.
Those who joined us for our June fundraiser know what we are talking about. Spread the word, we want as many people as possible to attend in support of the Puerto Vallarta Public Library. Tickets will be sold at Biblioteca Los Mangos and Belmar Hotel Galería on Insurgentes 161, or at the door on the night of the party. If you want, wear a costume like Elizabeth or Richard! The theme will be The Night of the Iguana.
We also want to announce the great classical concert to benefit Los Mangos Library at Teatro Vallarta on Sunday, November 21st at 12 noon. The Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Guadalajara is performing a great program in tribute of the great Mexican composer Moncayo, author of the very famous piece "Huapango" and many others.
Tickets cost $200 pesos for adults, or $100 pesos for children and students, and are available at Biblioteca Los Mangos, Belmar Hotel Galería at Insurgentes #161, at Hoteles Buenaventura and Hotel Villa Premiere Resort and SPA. Please show your support and continue to help us, as Biblioteca Los Mangos is not only Vallarta's public library, but also the city's cultural and community center.
We also want to inform you that OXXO will be rounding up cents for the library in the months of November, December and January. We hope to raise much needed funds, so please say "yes," when asked by the cashiers, or just say "redondeo, por favor" the next time you pay for your OXXO purchase.
