You don't need to spend hours in the kitchen waiting for the turkey to cook in order to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in Puerto Vallarta. A number of Banderas Bay area restaurants are offering Thanksgiving menus that include everything from traditional dishes to more enticing and innovative fare.

Back Alley Steakhouse

On November 25th, in addition to their regular menu, The Back Alley Steakhouse will be serving up a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner featuring: Curry Pumpkin Soup, Roasted Turkey with Gravy & Stuffing, Corn and Zucchini Sauté, Yams with Ginger Butter, Rosemary Potatoes, Cranberry Apple and a dessert of Apple Crumble with Homemade ice-cream, for $260 pesos per person. Coco's Kitchen Thanksgiving Dinner Special includes a 3-course meal with your choice of Cream of Corn Soup or an Arugula, Spinach and Pear Salad topped with almonds and Gorgonzola cheese, followed by a traditional meal of Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce and Pumpkin Pie for only $195 pesos per person. Daiquiri Dick's tropical location on Los Muertos Beach offers the perfect atmosphere for enjoying Thanksgiving in Puerto Vallarta. A special November 25th menu will be available from 5-11 pm featuring a Traditional Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings for $235 pesos per person, as well as some not-so traditional dishes like a Roasted Pork Tenderloin dinner for $260 pesos and House made Pumpkin Ravioli for $165 pesos. El Dorado Restaurant

Are you spending Thanksgiving away from home? How would you like to spend it right on the beach eating your gourmet turkey dinner? If so, the new El Dorado is the perfect place to get together with friends and family for a holiday meal. The 'Legend Reborn' has the same great location with a new modern look and the fabulous food of former Boca Bento owner Stewart Haverlack. Just like their everyday menu, the Thanksgiving menu is full of classics with a Latin Asian twist. On November 25th from 11 am to 5 pm, come and celebrate at the Gardens with a traditional Thanksgiving feast. $260 pesos for a 3-course menu that includes: One choice of cocktail, wine or soda; pureé of sweet potato soup or seasonal green vegetables salad; stuffed roast turkey with gravy; butter and parsley mashed potatoes; ginger-glazed carrots and a choice of traditional desserts.
